Intentions keep the tension in. Being hollow and empty means dropping
all intentions. Within tension, rest does not become deep. Devotion
dissolves intentions. Intention pushes you to the future. Bliss is
always present. The one who wakes up to this truth is wise. In a state
of bliss, once in a while, if an intention comes up, it manifests
effortlessly. The more intentions you have, the more in tension you will
be. To minimize your intentions could be your last intention.

Daily Sutras
You belong to the Divine
Our body belongs to this society/ this world and the world/society will take care of it. You belong to the Divine and the Divine will take care of you. In fact the Divine is taking care of you. Make this distinction that you are separate from your body. As soon as you do this you will see that you are separate from your body, you belong to the Divine.
God
Enlightenment is the biggest happiness. Why to go after small happiness when the biggest is there? It is not easy to believe in God. God is there: if you experience this then the mind calms down. Then you find only God is there and I don’t exist.
Devotion
Devotion is the zenith of Love. ‘Saa tvasmin panama prema rupa’ - Embodiment of supreme love for the divine is devotion. You can’t posses God. In routine love affairs, you love someone and you expect the same in return. You can’t claim a right on God. Love for that infinite consciousness is devotion.
Nature
Nature gives the strength to endure the suffering and walk through with strength. An animal is given only that heavy a tail, which it can wag. Just imagine a rat having the tail of an elephant. Nature is very intelligent. It only gives you that problem which you can handle.
Purify
Charity purifies wealth. Ghee/clarified butter purifies food. Knowledge purifies the intellect. Bhajan purifies the mind & Service purifies the action
Daily Sutras
Doing the Practice
Just like you learn to speak a language. Just like you learn to punch on the computer. Just like you learn to drive a car or a plane, you have to learn to drive back to the Self. This is the saadhana, this is the practice---is something that comes to you not just by nature, but by your effort.
Craving and Bondage
The craving for sense objects is bondage. Their existence seems to have given you a little pleasure, so it binds you. Now you crave for it, and it gives you more and more pain.
Succesful Failures
When the big Mind wins over the small, even the failure of the small mind is a joy. It has always happened that way. Turn back and see---some of your failures have been very good. They have made you progress somewhere, made you stronger.
What is Holding You Back
Drop all those divisions (of the mind), altogether. This is what is holding you back from enlightenment. This is what is holding you back from your very nature. Drop those right now.

means to overcome depression
Aggression as a means to overcome depression
Lack of idealism is the main cause of depression among the youth today.
Life appears to be so meaningless to these children, who are either too
scared of the competitive world or bogged down by heavy stimuli. They
need an inspiration....
And Spirituality is that inspiration that can keep the spirit up!
Aggression is the antidote to depression.
Depression sets in if there is a lack of zeal to fight.
Depression is lack of energy, and anger and aggression are a bolt of
energy.
When Arjuna was depressed, Krishna inspired him to fight and thus
reinstated life back in Arjuna. If you are depressed, don't take Prozac
- just fight - for any cause!
If aggression crosses a certain limit it leads you back into depression.
That's what happened with King Ashoka, who won the Kalinga war but
became depressed. He had to take refuge in Buddha.
WISE ARE THOSE WHO DO NOT FALL EITHER INTO AGGRESSION OR DEPRESSION.
That's the golden line of a Yogi.
Just wake up and acknowledge you are a Yogi!

daily sutra
Effort won't work
The moment you make an effort to love somebody or to be happy, you cannot.
Trust
The entire world lives on trust. Every aspect in life moves with trust.
Still More Doubt
In order to trust, you must first understand your doubt. You doubt yourself, and you doubt people around you. And then you doubt in the existence of God.
More Doubt
Just examine, what do you doubt? You doubt always in something good---whether it is in you or in someone else. When you are depressed, you never doubt your depression, but when you are happy you doubt: "Am I really happy? Is this really what I want?" And then you say, "I'm not sure..."

knowledge sheet - REVERENCE AND OWNERSHIP
Often you do not have reverence for that which you own.
Whatever you revere becomes bigger than you.
When you have reverence in all your relationships then your own
consciousness expands. Then even small things appear to be significant and
big. Every little creature appears to be dignified.
It is the reverence in every relationship that saves the relationship. Often
you lose reverence for that which you own, and this happens unconsciously.
When you have reverence for the whole universe, you are in harmony with the
while universe. Then, you do not need to reject or renounce anything of this
universe.
Reverence in ownership frees you from greed, jealousy and lust. Cultivate
the skill of having reverence every moment in your life.
STRENGTH AND SUBORDINATION
Many people do not want to work under someone else, be it in their
profession, in any company or even voluntary service. The general notion is
that when you work under someone, you lose your freedom, you have to be
answerable.
So, many people opt for business, wanting to be their own boss. But, in
business, you are accountable to so many people. If you cannot be
accountable to even one person, how can you be accountable to many? This is
the paradox. In fact, being in business binds you more than the boss!
Refusing to work under someone is a sign of weakness, not strength. A strong
person would not feel uncomfortable working under anyone, because he knows
his strength. It is the weak and poor in spirit who do not like to work
under someone else, because they are unaware of their strength. They can be
neither successful in business nor in any profession.
And the same is true even in the field of social service - often volunteers
do not want to work under someone else. This is merely an exhibition of
their weakness. With such an attitude, they achieve very little.
One who is timid and weak in spirit would be uncomfortable to work even
under the Wise one; but one who knows his own strength can work effectively
even under a fool!
Nityanand: But to work under a fool is frustrating!
SriSri: When you know your strength, with skill and intelligence, you can
turn every disadvantage into an advantage. A fool can bring out the best of
your communication skills! (laughter)
So watch out! If you feel uncomfortable working under someone, it clearly
shows you need to strengthen yourself. Desiring freedom from circumstances,
situations or people is no freedom at all. Knowing that nobody can take away
your freedom Ö that is strength! And when you realize your strength is
unshakable, you would not mind working under anybody.
