rudrabhisekham

Dear Guruji, what is the real meaning and importance of Rudra Pooja? And what happens to the people or the place? Sri Sri Ravi Shankar:   Rudrabhishek  is an ancient chanting which was downloaded from the  Aakasha  (space). When the ancient sages and Rishis sat in meditation, they heard, and what they heard, they started transferring to other people. The effect of Rudrabhishek is it creates positive energy and removes negative vibes. And a lot is said about the Rudrabhishek. When Rudrabishek happens nature flourishes, nature becomes joyful, happy.  Main thing is the vibration, that is it. If you ask me, ’Do you know the meaning of all the chants? I will say, ’I also don’t know.’ It’s the vibration of the chants that is important and then the meaning.  There are two parts, the first part says, ’Namo, namo, namo, namo!’  Mana , means mind. The word  mind  in English comes from Sanskrit word  Mana .  Nama  is the reverse...

vishnu's posture

vishu bhagwan day dreaming surrounded by beautiful sea and lakshmi devi pressing his leg!!! it is not just mere a picture ,its deeper meaning is that vishu is the higher self(pure awarness) and he has won over his carnal desires(which Is denoted by the snake) and thus he is in bliss (which is denoted by sheer sagar ie ocean of bliss) and pressing his feet is laxmi ( on material front is money) so this chilling is actually posible when one identifies with the higher Self (with in) and that is only posibble by winning over ones carnal desires and thus chill out in life as then you need not worry abt food ,clothing, shelter (basic needs which money can buy) and get drowned in the ocean of bliss (which is witnessed within oneself when  mind merges in the universal heart). And this is liberation- (jeevan mukti) being liberated and witnessing it at the same time.

Enjoy Where You Are

There is nothing which is intrinsically enjoyable. What one person enjoys, another person will despise. Enjoyment comes from your attitude toward a particular situation, not the situation itself. Too many people search in vain for enjoyable activities, enjoyable relationships, enjoyable environments, enjoyable entertainment. A much more successful strategy would be to stop searching and start enjoying. The enjoyment is not in the activity. The enjoyment is in you. Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, find a way to enjoy it. Sure, it's great when you aspire to bigger and better things. But don't fool yourself into thinking that they'll come pre-packaged with their own enjoyment. That is up to you. Perhaps you didn't choose to be where you are, and it's great that you're committed to getting somewhere else. Yet while you're here, accept it and enjoy it. Enjoying where you are right now will take you a long way toward wherever else you wish to go.

How to deal with rude behaviour

What do you do when someone behaves very rudely towards you? Get upset React rudely back Get frustrated Run away and avoid the person or situation Blame the person Preach to the person None of these will in any way strengthen you. Then what are the options? See rude behaviour in this light: It indicates the intensity of their commitment It indicates their stress and insensitivity It projects the upbringing of the person It shows a behavioural pattern It shows lack of knowledge It shows lack of observation of the mind and its sensations It shows you behaviour to avoid It is an opportunity for you to welcome and absorb the rudeness It strengthens your mind It reveals the love that you are as unconditional The next time when someone is rude to you, just give back a broad smile. If you can digest their rudeness, nothing whatsoever can shake you.
